Natural Household Cleaning Products
Natural household cleaning products contain safe substances that create powerfully clean surfaces. Many cleaners can be made at home using inexpensive easy-to-find ingredients. Other alternatives can be ordered online or found at your local health food store. It doesn’t take any extra time or effort to use natural or homemade household cleaners but doing so can save money, your health and the environment. Choose products that are recyclable, biodegradable and that don’t contain toxic chemicals. Avoid petroleum-based ingredients as well as preservatives like EDTA and NTA. Also, steer clear of phosphates, chlorine bleach or sodium hypochlorite as these elements are highly toxic.
