BE HAPPY!

Be happy and keep a positive outlook on the things in your life. If you do, you can increase all aspects of your health. Depression consumes around 10% of Americans and is the leading cause of disability in the U.S. with women twice as likely to suffer. Your attitude can have an affect on everything you do. While doctors often prescribe drugs, psychiatrists and psychologists (who then prescribe you drugs) to CURE your depression, the side effects can lead to other problems. Anti-depressant medication actually increases suicide. I would opt to avoid creating a new problem to cover another up, but instead find the cause and fix it. Being happy can also help boost your immune system and help you create success. There are some natural ways to change your thinking and create happiness without unwarranted side effects.

Here are some great ways to be HAPPY!

Live lighthearted. Don’t be demanding or insulting.
Forgive & Forget. There’s no need to hold a grudge and let it have control.
Tell Jokes. Tickle, Just Laugh! I mean really laugh! Children laugh an average of 10,000 times per week, Adults.. 5 times per week. Here's a jok to get you started, curtosy of my 8 year old step-son. "Why did Tigger look in the toilet?" He was looking for Pooh!
Smile more. There are a multitude of muscles in your face for a reason, use them.
Dance & Sing! I bet that will make you smile!
Don’t depend on anyone or anything to make you happy. Happiness comes from within.
Give and get hugs. Physical contact is essential.
Don’t watch the news or read newspapers. They will fill your mind with negative images and cause you to worry about things you can’t do anything about, plus most of it is biased.
Be truthful to yourself and others. Imagine what this could do for the world!
Find the positive lesson in every experience.
Eat right. Chemically loaded food will alter your mental balance.
Your words are powerful, use them as a tool. What you say is what you get.
Be positive about everything. Look on the bright side. Stay positive even when the going gets rough.
Help others. Be kind and helpful to others. Look for the opportunity to lend a hand.
Stay away from negative nellies. You don’t need anyone bringing you down. Negative emotions poison your thinking.
Learn to love yourself.
Get enough sleep.
Listen to nice music. Studies have been done on different types of music and their effects. Plants actually died when exposed to certain types like rap. The right music can make you instantly be happy.
Find and connect with God.
Go for a walk. Get your blood moving. Get some exercise. Get some exercise.
Reconnect with nature. Get outside and relax in the sunshine.
Find your PURPOSE in life. What is it that you were meant to do? Find your passion!
De-stress to be happy!
Worry is a wasted emotion. Worry never did anyone any good. Stop worrying about things you can’t control.

Be Happy and think positively and you’ll have significant results throughout your life. What you do today can change the course of your tomorrow.
