Alternative Healing

There are many ways to approach healing the body, here we take a look at some alternative healing techniques that may help. First, you must remember that NOTHING can heal your body except the body itself! You have to provide the correct environment and fuel so your body can do what it’s suppose to naturally. Also, it’s important to know that your body is not lacking any of these alternatives; we do not lack aspirin and therefore have a headache, there is other cause for the pain. You may be lacking essential nutrients or have a high toxic load that causes your symptoms. Symptoms are your bodies way of telling you something isn’t right. If you don’t want a headache, don’t eat whatever it is causing the headache. This is the same for any pain, disease or ailment. With that said, I realize some ailments happen due to accident that are hard to avoid. In that case these alternative healing methods may work very well to help restore a more natural state to your body. Of course, either way, these alternatives are certainly worth trying before considering surgery or drugs. If you are currently taking prescription or non-prescription drugs, it’s best to get off them. Consult a doctor before you do.

Alternative Healing Techniques:

*See a Homeopathic or Naturopath Practitioner.

*Chiropractic Adjustments. These work for some people, not others. If you’ve hurt your back or slept wrong, getting an adjustment may prove very helpful.

* Massage. I don’t know many people who don’t enjoy getting a great massage. Be careful though, it is possible to relax the muscles unevenly which could cause pain or soreness. Here’s the best secret I ever learned about a good massage.. and believe me I’ve had millions of them! START WITH THE STOMACH MUSCLES! *Physical Therapy. This type of therapy usually entails a combination of massage, exercise and strengthening movements. May work for sprains and such, but not so good for chronic ailments.

* Reflexology. Your feet, hands and head contain pressure points to different parts all over the body. Relaxing the tension in the tips of your toes, for instance is suppose to help balance the energy to your brain. This can be a great way to re-balance and relax through nerve stimulation.

* Check your body pH. You need to be alkaline not acidic. Disease simply cannot live in an alkaline body. Changing your eating habits and getting more sunshine can do wonders to changing your body’s pH.
